The Band around Producer Fredrik Nordström always was more a side project then a Band that was out to make it or break it, nonetheless there are quite a number of high level players in the Band, so the entertainment and skill level is quite high on stage. With ‚the Book of Heavy Metal‘ the Band landed a really likeable song with a mighty groove right with their first album and lots of people in front of the stage including me waited to get that groove going.

Shooting Notes
I had to watch out a bit shooting Dream Evil on the smaller Pain Stage. Direct sunlight was falling on the edge of the stage, so everytime one of the performers leaned forward into the light, I had to change the exposure right away not to get unfixable blown out highlights. So I was shooting at f4 at ISO 200 changing my shutter speed all the time varying between 1/400 and 1/1000 of a second.
