Gwar – Summer Breeze Open Air 2010

If you are watching Gwar you have to be ready to get covered in blood… and nothing less happened this evening. With me not wanting to be red the whole next week, I kept to the edge of the stage and got in front of the band only for brief moments and only as long as nobody with a tube sticking out his back came on stage. Luckily the securites didn’t bother to inforce the 3 Song policy giving the photographers enough time to cover the show.
Shooting Notes
With being dangerously close to getting covered in blood I used the 70-200 shooting from the side of the stage most of the time, just getting the EF-S 10-22 for a few shots running in front of the Band. I was shooting at ISO 1600 the whole time, because it was to damn dark onstage, using a shutter speed of 1/160 and an Aperture of f2.8.
