Hail of Bullets - Summer Breeze Open Air 2010, Live, Festival, Show

It was late and after being awake till 6 am the last night, Hail of bullets were supposed to be just a short stop before getting back to the tent, but after listening to them for a while, we decided to stay, because they were so much fun. The Band was really active today and all over the stage… no idea why, but I’ll never complain about an energetic show.

Shooting Notes

Another show in that awefull tent again. Not that I didn’t enough the Bands playing there, but the light was aweful the entire time. I was shotting Hail of Bullets at ISO 1600 with an aperture of f2.8 and a shuttter speed of 1/125. For the most part I used a flash to freeze the silhouetted guys do to the missing frontlight, turning the flash of just from time to time, when they stepped in the middle of the stage and there was more light on them. I was shooting this set exclusively with the 24-70 because the guys moved so much and didn’t stand still for a moment, also I wouldn’t have been able to get a sharp image with the 70-200 do to motion blur.
