Since Keep of Kalessin nearly represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest they are quite known. Next to that their albums score big time in the magazine ratings. For my part I tried listening to their work and even though I got to admit, that those are great cds they don’t really work for me, so I was curious to see how they do live. I got surprised, because Keep of Kalessin played one of the best Shows I ever saw.
Shooting Notes
Keep of Kalessin shows are made for wide angle shots. With the Band coming close to the edge of the stage and headbanging like crazy I got the right angles to make it work. So the 10-22 was my lens of choice, even though I got the 24-70 and the 70-200 out too. I was shooting at ISO 200 matching aperture and shutter speed to the zoom of the 10-22 between f3.5 to f4.5 and 1/250 to 1/500.
