Nevermore – Rock Hard Festival 2010

Five Years have passed since Nevermore released their last album. Next to that the Band decided to take a break for a while, so that we haven’t been able to see them live for a quite a bit. So their gig at the Rock Hard Festival 2010 turned out to be kind of a comeback show. But not only that, the new Album ‚The Obsidian Conspiracy‘ was about to be released and the Band decided to play quite a lot of new material. No wonder the place was packed and it seemed that there was not one person in the audience, that wasn’t excited to see the Band. The expectations were up high this eve, but Nevermore played a gig that exceeded those expectations without even trying.
Shooting Notes
I was still to bright outside for my taste, but what can you do. The conditions outside were still to good to get some moody pictures, so I had to concentrate on getting some nice actionshots of the Band. Shooting at a shutter speed of 1/500, f3.2 and an ISO of 320 I was able to get a correct exposure and keep everything sharp without worring too much about motionblur. This time I was able to use all my lenses, even though the Pit was once again pretty packed. With Mister Loomis and Mister Dane stepping out on the big speakerbox in front of the stage I was able to get some nice 10mm impressions.
