Even though Voivod are one of those classic Metalbands, that should be on everybodys list to see, I couldn’t deal with them. Maybe it was just to late in the evening or it just wasn’t my cup of tea. At least the rest of the crowd seemed to enjoy them, even though after Volbeat finished their set, the place was draining by the minute.

Shooting Notes
Shooting Voivod was aweful. No only was the Band backlite for 90% of the shooting time, but the lightdesigner seemed to be endorsed by stage smoke machine companies. Naturally I had to put a flash on my camera to get some good shots. ISO was up at 1000 and I was shooting wide open at f2.8 with a shutter speed between 1/100 and 1/160.
