Walls of Jericho – Summer Breeze Open Air 2009

There are a lot of great pictures of Walls of Jericho around and Bandfronter Candace Kucsulain as well as the rest of the Band seemed to bring a lot of energy along when performing live, so I was quite excited to shoot the Band. As expected the Band was giving everything from the moment they stepped on the stage and wasn’t standing still. With the crowd going wild in the back of your neck and an high energetic Band in front of you such a gig can be nothing else then a lot of fun.
Shooting Notes
With the sun starting to set behind the stage, I had to bump up my ISO to 400 and shoot with an aperture of f2.8. That gave me a shutter speed of 1/320 which was necessary to deal with the fast movement on stage. I was using the 24-70 most of the time with a bit of 70-200 in between for some close-ups.
