Barren Earth – Summer Breeze Open Air 2010

Barren Earth opened up the Festival – even though there was something going on the evening before, they were the first Band to play the main area of the festival. With their progessive Death Metal they set quite an interesting mood for the rest of the day.
Shooting Notes
Barren Earth, as said before, were the first Band to play the mainstage, so I had to find my angles and get a feel for the exposures. I like to start during the day shooting at ISO 200 which results in a bit more noise, but gives me a stop more shutter speed and results in way sharper pictures. I was shooting at f2.8 at 1/500 of a second using the Canon EF 24-70 most of the time, getting the Canon EF 70-200 out for the last Song to get some close ups.
