Maroon – Summer Breeze Open Air 2010

The choice between seeing Maroon or Dark Funeral was pretty easy for me, not being that much of a Black Metal fan any longer. Having seen the Band a couple of times before, I knew that I could expect a great show. With their latest Album ‚Order‘ the Band released a fantastic album, which was so much fun to hear live.
Shooting Notes
By now it was completely dark outside, so the lightguy had to turn up the spots on stage. Unfortunately there was so much red light, that is was messing with all my pictures. To counterbalance that, I was using a flash dialed back about 1 1/2 stops. Do to that I was able to shoot at f2.8, ISO 800 and a shutter speed between 1/160 and 1/250. Maroon would have been a great Band to get the 10-22 out of the bag, but it was just to dark to deal with the aperture of f4.5 (it’s a nice lens, but what really annoys me about it, is the changing aperture over the zoomrange).
