Necros Christos play a really slow and crushing type of Death Metal, so not really the kind of music that is ideal to party with. They kind of worked really well playing right before Katatonia, nonetheless the gig at all was a bit static and slow and so most of the audience kept to their seats. The show probably would have worked a lot better in a small and dark club, it was just to early in the day for this kind of show.

Shooting Notes
There wasn’t a lot of movenment with Necros Christos, the Band was as slow as their sound and so shooting at 1/320 of a second was more then enought to work against motion blur and camera shake, even with the 70-200 at full zoom. Because it was still early in the day I had enough light to shoot at f4 with the ISO at 200. I used the 24-70 to get some full length shots and pulled the 70-200 out in the second half of the first three songs to get some close ups.
